  1. Postpartum Workshop
    This is a one day workshop to help you prepare for the 4th Trimester, the Postpartum Period. In this workshop you will learn from four postpartum professionals a postpartum doula, lactation consultant, pelvic floor specialist and maternal mental health therapist about how to gain skills for a more easeful transition into parenthood. Wether its your first, fourth or twelfth baby, this workshop will give you in depth information to feel empowered to make educated choices for you and your family. Come make a postpartum plan, learn excercises for healing, gain knowledge about lactation wether you are bottle or breastfeeding and know more about how to keep your mind in a healthy balanced place. Bring a yoga mat if you have one, wear something comfortable.

    This is a weekly Soft Flow & Restore Yoga Class on Wednesdays from 9AM - 10:15 AM at Centered City Yoga in Salt Lake City. Spend your morning enlivening you body through soft, subtle moment followed by restorative postures. This class will focus on the 8 fold path of yoga through Pranayama, Asana, Meditation and more. Wear something comfortable and bring a mat if you have one.

    This weekly Prenatal Yoga Class on Thursdays from 7:30-8:45PM at Centered City Yoga Studio. We will gain strength, learn coping tools and support you through pregnancy empowering you for a safe, satisfying birth expirience. his class will focus on the 8 fold path of yoga through Pranayama, Asana, Meditation and more. Come join other mamas and build a fun community during this time. Wear something comfortable and bring a mat if you have one.

  5. Birth & Beyond Expo
    Attend this Expo to learn more about Birth & Beyond February 10th from 10 AM - 6 PM. There will be movie screenings, classes, discussion panels, and vendors to browse. My booth will be set up amongst other SHAUNTEA Health and Wellness Coalition members. Come meet us in person, ask questions and come listen to me speaking about "Mind Body Connection through Pregnancy, Labor/Birth, Postpartum" and the benefits it can have on your whole family.   6. Celebrating Mothers
    Spend a evening Celebrating the Mother Within through henna, acupuncture, foot baths, sound healing, meditation and ritual. This event is for any "MOTHER" (this includes anyone in the LGBTQIA community who identifies as a mother) whose expecting or in any stage postpartum wanting to honor the transition, or set new intentions, of parenthood. Come join the community through ritual, celebrating this rite of passage. Bring your friends and family (no children under 12 please) that want to bless and support you during this time. This weeks topic "Let it Flow" is a 75 minute prenatal yoga class followed by Elizabeth Smith, IBCLC Certified Lactation Consultant, educating you on how to nourish your baby. Learn skills and tips to having success for any way you choose to feed your baby.
